About ElectricLawnMower.net
Buying a lawn mower should be simple. It rarely is. There are dozens of brands, a wall of specs, and a lot of marketing that hides the parts that matter. ElectricLawnMower.net exists to cut through that noise and help you pick the right electric mower for your yard.
We cover battery and corded mowers. We explain how they work, what to look for, and which models are worth your money. No hype, no filler, just clear advice you can act on.
Why we started this site
A few years ago, shopping for an electric mower meant guessing. Reviews were thin, and half of them read like ads. We wanted a place that felt like advice from a neighbor who had already done the homework.
So we built one. Every guide here answers a real question. Every pick is matched to a type of yard, because the best mower for a small city lawn is not the best mower for a half acre with hills.
Who runs ElectricLawnMower.net
This site is founded and edited by Tony Hartley. Tony reads the spec sheets, tracks new releases, spends time with the mowers he can get his hands on, and pulls in owner feedback for the ones he cannot. He writes and reviews the guides to keep the advice honest and easy to follow.

How we pick our mowers
We keep our method plain. For each mower we look at cutting power, runtime, deck size, weight, build quality, and price. Then we ask one question: who is this mower actually good for?
We read what owners say after months of use, not just the first week. We flag the common complaints as clearly as the strengths. And we update our picks when a better model shows up or when an old favorite falls behind. If a mower is not worth buying, we say so.
Our promise to you
We stay independent. Our picks are chosen on value and real performance, not on who pays the most. Brands do not get a spot on our lists by asking for one.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That support keeps the guides free and the research going. It never changes what we recommend. You can read the full details on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
